About European Stroke Organisation (ESO)


The mission of the ESO is to reduce the burden of stroke.


ESO aims to improve stroke care by providing medical education to healthcare professionals and the lay public.


ESO is the principal Europe-wide organisation for the development and promotion of clinical stroke care and stroke research for physicians, researchers, paramedical personnel and lay members, as well as national and lay stroke societies, aiming to reduce the burden of stroke across Europe. The key element of this mission is to improve stroke education at the European level.

About eSTEP


The ESO Stroke Education Platform (eSTEP) aims to meet the educational needs of ESO members by providing easy access to educational materials. The Editorial Board and ESO Education Committee colloborate to ensure the quality of materials included in eSTEP meets ESO educational standards.
